ACCOMPANYING TEXT

This educational Manual is addressed to students and teachers of primary and secondary education, in particular to students of the last three grades of Primary and students of Middle School. The objectives are for students to acquire interest and correct, basic knowledge of "Energy" in general, to understand its rational use and conservation in daily life, the impact on the environment and the climate of planet Earth from its (ab)use and to participate in actions that deal with them. The basic aim is the material to be presented simply and comprehensibly, to be exciting to the students, so as to raise their interest, to create concern for and willingness to act and change behavior. At the end of each chapter there are activities for students that can be done, either at school or at home with their parents' cooperation.
